My policy on use of my photos is by permission only!

Any other way is stealing.

Can I stop you? No, but it's still stealing. I get paid only one way and that's if someone buys a photo. I still have to pay the bills. Even this web site costs me money and it takes lots of time on my part to keep it updated.

Photos can be scanned giving unsatisfactory results and I can't stop that. Is that the way you want to show your horse? I don't think so. So I'm asking you not to do it.

I know people are using the web site photos as desktop background and how do I know, because some have been so bold as to tell me. Please don't steal my work!

Publications:

Plain and simple: If your publication has paid advertising in it, you pay.

News letters:

I will consider it.

The internet:

I will consider it for a fee.

In all cases all photos are to be used with my guidelines not yours. Photos will be cropped to your finished size and file size reduced for faster uploading on the web. All photos will have the copyright mark on them. No cropping of photo. For print, caption shall read (used by permission of photographer). All use is for one time only and not to be archived.
